What Should I Expect During a Sunday Service?
A typical service will last about 70 minutes and will begin with music led by a live band. Words for each song will be projected onto a large screen and many people will sing along. You are welcome to participate however you feel comfortable.
One of our pastors will then share an engaging message from the Bible. The pastor will simply explain everything and will help you take a verse or story from the Bible and make a meaningful connection to your life.
At the end of service, we will take communion. Communion is an opportunity to respond to God and reflect on what you learned that day.
There will be an opportunity to give to the church financially every Sunday. The offering is a time for those who consider Southern Heights Christian Church their church home to respond to God through giving. As our guest, you are not expected to give.
After the service we’d like to invite you to stop by the area just outside the worship center at the Resource Desk, where you can learn more about the church and find ways to get connected at SHCC.
