Park Meet up
Harke Park 6:30-7:30pm
Want to get to know or hang out with other families from SHCC that have kids around the same age as your kids? This is the activity for you!!! Bring your kids and enjoy the company of other GPS families as we swing, slide, and climb all over the fun play equipment at Harke Park.

SuperSplash Family Day
Monday June 16 10:00am
We be collecting reservations for this family event at one of the coolest waterparks in Missouri. For safety reasons, all participants under the age of 13 will need a parent, friend, guardian, or relative (over 18) with them that day. Cost per ticket is $30 and will need to be paid by June 15.

Fishing Day
June 25th Fishing 6:00-8:00 - Mike and Karen Oswald's Pond
Kids of all fishing experience levels are invited to join us. We will take some time to teach kids how to fish for those who have never been taught. We will have plenty of gear to go around. Don't like to fish? No problem, come and enjoy the fun that always surround SHCC families as we get together!

Ozark Caverns Cave Tour
Sunday, July 13 - Ozark Caverns Cave Tour 3:30pm
We will have a chance to see one of the most beautiful caves in Missouri as we adventure into the depths of the earth. Tickets will be covered by SHCC but the tour is limited to the first 25 who sign up. We will tour the cave and then picnic together. We just ask each family to provide their own food and drinks. If you do not want to tour the cave but want to just hang out and do the picnic that is okay too! Just let us know when you sign up that you won't need a cave tour ticket.

Family HomeRun Derby
Wednesday, August 6th - 6:00-7:30
We will be putting some fences up on our own ball field at SHCC and have a whiffle ball homerun derby. This will be an exciting time of parents vs kids and winner takes all :).

CHURCH CAMP!!!
Camp at Gasconade Christian Service camp is located in Waynesville, MO.
When signing up, choose the grade your child WILL BE ATTENDING IN FALL OF 2025!
K-1st Camp
This one day camp is for those campers who are just starting on their camping journey!! It is requested that parents bring their kids to the camp to drop them off or stay for the day. Pastor Jon will be attending this camp with the kids as well.
2nd-3rd grade Camp
This is a two day, one night camp. Kids will have the experience of sleeping in the dorms as well as a two day camping experience. Pastor Jon will be attending this camp with the kids and will provide transportation to and from the camp.
4th-5th Grade Camp
This is a 4 day, 3 night camp. We will have loads of fun all week. Pastor Jon will be leading this camp and can provide transportation to and from the camp. SHCC's Pastor Ryan will be leading the worship and SHCC's Jason Leignbaugh will be the speaker for the services

We have a fully staffed Early Childhood ministry and the 2 - 5 year old children stay engaged while rotating between 4 different stations with their group leaders:
Lesson, Snacks, Crafts and Music!
Children ages Birth - 23 months stay in the Nursery/Toddler rooms.
Every Children’s Ministry environment includes:
Safety
Your child’s name tag is matched to a parent/guardian identification number and all volunteers are screened with a background check.
Relevant Teaching
Each lesson is delivered in a way your child will understand and relate to his/her everyday life. We bring Bible stories to life through hands on activities and discussions that keep your child engaged.
Friendships
We value meaningful relationships and create opportunities for your child to connect with leaders and other children.
Fun
SHCC Children’s Ministry is a fun place to be! Your child will learn about Jesus through play, storytelling, and energetic worship.
